I don't think anything has been done because no law has been broken.
I don't think wishing Obama dead is a crime, only threatening him is. I do think that if these pastors continue to use the pulpit to preach politics their tax exempt status should be revoked.
The guy with the AR-15, wasn't breaking the law either. It is in extremely poor taste. The cops went up and talked to him, but couldn't do anything.

But this is what I have recognized as well, there are right wing think tanks and lobbying groups jerking the strings of these people. These people are acting out a scenario that has been fed to them on the basis of fear and suspicion. The one group I am familiar with is the ACLJ and I am in contact with this group through Christian radio station KPDG in Portland Oregon. They host his show to promote 'Christian Values' www.aclj.org/ I personally find it a rabid mix of demagoguery and lies that decent morons or even non-decent people with two functioning brain cells should be able to see through. It is nothing that Jesus would have anything to do with. Believe me. The J. Sekulow show is on daily at 12:30. Listen to it a few times at this link www.kpdq.com/ It is obvious he is a paranoid using scare tactics. At least it is to me. Weak minded people like these Christians in his audience who are afraid to make a choice for fear it is 'sinful' fall right into this carefully contrived fear mongering. It is designed to fit right into their world view. For this kind of person such language is a motivational address.
