I'm afraid this fight will be anti-climactic and a dud. I'm hoping it is not a dud. In my dreams I see Pacquaio pressing the fight for a full 12 rounds or less and coming off the winner. That's how I'd like to see the outcome. I just don't now if he is still a tiger or if he has become a pussy cat.

Have you seen Mayweathers latest effort MDB? This was against B class fighter Maidana, and he struggled. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU_gOL2xgCMThe first fight was so close they had a rematch which Floyd won clearer, but he shouldnt be struggling with B class fighters like Maidana Mayweathers just aint what they used to be

If you're the betting man you don't bet against Floyd. Undefeated, and arguably one of the top 5 greatest defensive fighters of all time. However, "grandfather" time catches up with you and it effects fighters in this sport, who rely on speed and reflexes the most. Against Chino, he looked flat footed. Constantly resorting to clinching, getting caught more than ever. Although like most Latin fighters Maidana has a great chin, and good power, he is at best a C level boxer.
What's really surprising in this fight is that Mayweather is allowing Pacquaio to wear the Reyes glove, which is a punchers glove. That wasn't the case for Maidiana and some other fighters who could punch.
I think it's going to be an exciting fight. I think Manny pulls out the decision in a close fight and gives Floyd a slice of "humble pie." But would I also be shocked if Floyd dominated and won the fight? No, seen that before all too many times.

B class is too generous for Maidana. He is definitely a C class fighter. Pacquiao - even at this stage - is a different kettle of fish altogether

I just don't like Mayweather for the same reasons i didn't like Zab Judha. Both come across as wise ass punks. Good highly skilled fighters, but wise as punks just the same.

It seems to me I remember him being penalized for aggression toward the referee. Vinny Pazienza is another tough punk.

Rumor has it that the great Russian trainer Euegene "Papa" Vladimirsky was in camp helping Kostya Tszyu for this fight. Result, one of the most magnificent TKO's in boxing history.

That's why I root for guys like Wlad and GGG. They're good guys, and good ambassadors to the sport. However, I don't let an athletes personal life or personality sway me from the facts. Guys like Floyd are degenerate scum bags, and you can make great argument MMA pound-for-pound king John Jones is a grade A psycho path, however it would be asinine for me to deny there talents, accomplishments, or skills.

Agreed. I never liked SRL but I give him his just deserts, he was a superb fighter. I never cared much for the Klitscho brothers but I recognized them as being better than average and a credit to the sport. I have in my memory one of the brothers fighting Lennox Lewis and his eye being cut so bad it looked as if his eyeball might pop out through the gash. A lesser fighter would have given up, but he stuck it out. It was a horrible cut. I admire him for his guts. I think his corner or the ref stopped the fight and justly so. But he himself showed little desire to quit. Fighters who approach greatness do not quit. That is one thing I hold against Kosta Tzyu. He quit on his stool against Hatton and I lost my respect for him after that.
