I feel bad for the dog, it should have just run away. So much for us domesticating animals and making them stupid to suite our needs.

I feel bad for the dog, it should have just run away. So much for us domesticating animals and making them stupid to suite our needs. That is quite a video. Yes it is, i watched it a few times in a attempt and understand what was going through the animals minds, the cat was a SOB, it hovered over the fawn as a trophy, yet found it too large to kill. The dog was just a plain stupid domestic dog, probably took after it's cowardly screaming owner, if the stupid bitch had shut up or ran to defend the dog, the dog would have been far less traumatized, perhaps even more vigilant in having chased off the deer. I like cats and dogs, yet that was one cat that was begging to be stomped on.

I thought the cat was simply curious and I did wonder why the damned dog did not run. Apparently his domesticated side was far to middle class to take one action or another. Like the middle class of humans today who simply let the predators snuff them.
