I looked out the window this morning and in the midst of the Mallards was a Wood Duck. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wood_DuckThey were getting along with the Mallards just well sharing the grain I put out for them. It was interesting to notice how the larger domestic white and oriental ducks act like bullies. The only birds that do not share the grain are the domestic and oriental ducks. The Mallards and Wood Ducks do not mind having smaller birds eating with them. Photos of the Wood Duck below. You can see how delightfully colored they are. In size they are slightly smaller than the Mallards.
