I'll watch this one later, too, bro. I read Seven Years in Tibet by Heinrich Harrar (sp?) years ago.
And speaking of German wanderers I was just reading about the lifetime bicyclist, Heinz Stucke, who I met in NYC long ago. He is still at it, strong as ever!

I met a guy out here who had been bicycling around the country. He was from New York. Headed toward San Francisco and points south.

You need endurance and good strength for that. What Lance Armstrong accomplished is in my mind one of the greatest sports accomplishments.
