Freedom - I downloaded Izarc. Thanks. Will it automatically unzip all my ZIP files now, or do I have to open it up first? ww Is it set as your default? If so - the zipped files should open automaticaly. DBL click on the file in IZArc, it should open the folder(s)> highlight, then click on extract. That's it. You can find the extracted folder by: START> SEARCH>ALL FILES>"CALL OF THE WILD">SEARCH. NOTE: Should be able to drag and drop a file in IZArc as well.

How do I set IZarc as my default?

Upon downloading IZArc, it should automatically set as default. Try opening the file you downloaded "call of the wild?"
Try that first, and i'll check into changing the settings for default.

I -
You're confusing me with Mr Mad Dog. He's the guy who downloaded Call of the Wild, tho I might be doing the same (is the reader good?). I did, however, click on one of the other books I downloaded but haven't burned yet, and sure enough IZArc opens up automatically, so you're right, it did set itself as default.

No confusion, i mentioned the audio file as an example. There are three or four different different readers on Call of the Wild, the only thing i don't like is changing from male to female reader. Overall it's fine, still only half way through.
Good on IZArc.

I guess that both you and the Mad Dog downloaded Call of the Wild then. Mostly I listen to audiobook cd's that I get from the library. I listen to them while driving. I find some of the professional readers very good, but more middling, and many bad, though the overall quality seems to have improved from the old cassette audiobooks that the libraries had before, especially...shiver...that creep David Case who spoiled so many classics.
I've got Nordhoff and Hall's *Faery Lands of the South Seas* on the cd, plus some poems, plus a bunch of other Libravox books waiting to be burned to cd. I should look into the audiobook pay services one of these days.

I like almost anything that's free and not sexually transmitted.
The torrent sites offer loads and loads of professionally produced books. I have to warn you they are illegal an can get your ass put in a sling. I enjoy watching the chickadees and red poles at the feeder.
I have some program my son put on for me that opens up ZIP files. Not sure what it is, it works and it is not one of the things you mentioned.

I won't bother with torrents, Mister Mad Dog. Aside from being illegal I think they're loaded with viruses. Have you guys any experiences with the commercial audio book download places? How about commercial download and streaming movie sites? I like old movies and foreign movies and offbeat movies. I have no interest in contemporary Hollywood crap. There are some neat free movie websites, like this one www.liketelevision.com/and this one www.hulu.com/browse/alphabetical/feature_filmI'd like to find one like those but with a massive collection of old movies, like "Dersu Uzala" and "Children of Paradise" and "Sunrise" and stuff like that. Sometimes people upload some great movies to Youtube, like "The Clock". ww

But I believe it is bootleg. he get boxing for me. He got me the entire first season of the original Twilight Zone as well. Also 8 hours of uncut news reporting by CNN of 0/11 as it was happening. Stuff in there you cannot find talked about anymore.

That's a good link. Rod Serling used to live in the same area as me when I lived on the east coast. Some of the productions were done in my home town I was told but I cannot verify it. He had a camp on Cayuga lake and a sea plane.

He was an orthodox Jew. Smoked like chimney. His veins were brittle as glass. Died young. Many of those shows were excellent; some were maudlin and pretty bad, but most were very good.

One of the maudlin bad TZ episodes was about German concentration camps - a proto-hollow hoax theme. That was before the actual Hollow Hoax 6 Million schtick was invented in the 1970's.

I used to drink when I drew. Maybe that's why my proportions were a bit (a bit?) off, but then i wasn't going for realism, just funniness.
